Your safety is important to us, whether you live in Woodlawn, Hyde Park, Kenwood, or Oakland. That's why the University of Chicago Police Department (UCPD) operates around the clock to serve all neighborhood residents. In addition to the safety awareness training we offer, the University works closely with the South East Chicago Commission on long-range plans to increase community safety.
